One more step: Campaign Verify.

Because your committee is a 527 political organization, U.S. carriers give you the strongest political sending treatment — but only with a Campaign Verify token. Your committee must request it directly (it proves the committee itself authorized texting). It costs $95, paid to Campaign Verify, and is valid for the two-year cycle.

An officer of your committee goes to campaignverify.org and creates an account.
Start a New Verification Request — pick Federal (FEC ID) or State/Local (your election-authority filing). Use your committee's contact info exactly as it appears on your public filing.
Campaign Verify reviews it and sends a 6-digit PIN to your committee's filed email or phone. Enter the PIN to finish.
Copy the resulting auth token — it looks like cv|1.0|tcr|10dlc|… — and paste it below. Important: don't submit the token anywhere else first — tokens can only be registered with one texting provider.
